Flight Description

This is the Ultimate experience for two passengers, in two aircraft!

The only question is, who's going to be Maverick and who's going to be Goose? Grab your wingman and engage in the ultimate aerial dog fight over the stunning scenic Northern Beaches of Sydney, at speeds in excess of 350 kmh with twists and turns as though you’re riding a roller coaster together at 3000 feet! With thick white smoke trailing both aircraft, it will be difficult for everyone below at the beaches not to look up in awe while you’re trying to shoot your wingman down. Unfortunately, like any dog fight, there can only be one winner on the day who will hold bragging rights! But don’t worry, after the dog fight is complete, we will split up for some individual solo aerobatics where we can step up the g-force and aggressiveness of the aerobatics, before we rejoin back in formation and return back to base!

So everyone can feel like a winner when we touch down together on the runway back at Bankstown Airport. This is the ultimate experience for two with the most stunning backdrop! Flying with your wingman over the Northern Beaches of Sydney while trying to shoot each other out of the sky will be like nothing you’ve done before! Afterwards, we can set up for a mirror formation where you’ll see a side of wingman that you've never seen before, as well as the perfect photo opportunity, just like the one they did in Top Gun the Movie!

Engine start

You and your wingman will start in our flight lounge at Bankstown Airport, where we will suit up in a pilot's flight suit, followed by our formation briefing. This is where you’ll also be able to discuss your scenic and aerobatic flight preferences, if any. Afterwards, you'll both be securely strapped into the cockpit, elite noise-cancelling headset on, and ready for takeoff. As you become airborne together in close formation, you will immediately feel as though you could reach out and touch your wingman as you’re flying through the skies over Sydney. As you climb over the northern beaches, the adventure begins! You will set up for your dog fight over the beaches of Sydney. There will be no feeling like it, after returning back to base and landing in formation and as we shut down the engines and you both jump out of your aircraft, high five and hug it out with your wingman. The bond between you and your wingman will become unbreakable after this shared experience. There’s a reason why we Red Baron Pilots simply love our formation flights!

Perfect for thrill-seekers, this experience is the ultimate test of nerves, emotional intelligence, and a test of your G-force tolerance! But don't worry, we will brief you on how not to pass out during the high G manoeuvres!

Flying in the cutting-edge Extra 330LX stunt plane and the iconic Red Baron Pitts Special biplane, this heart-pounding adventure takes you to heights of 3000 feet over the stunning scenic Northern Beaches of Sydney, at speeds in excess of 300 kmh. After the dog flight, you'll enjoy an optional, more extreme solo aerobatic experience (or just watch your wingman do theirs, while you catch your breath) before rejoining in formation to return to back base.

Your mission begins at Red Baron Hangar with your briefing and flight suit, and equipment preparation, followed by a formation takeoff where you will eyeball your wingman just off your wing, and before you know it, you're in an exhilarating dogfight over the waves crashing off the northern beaches of Sydney.
