Fly Red Baron Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

  • All Red Baron aircraft are subject to passenger maximum height and weight limitations. Please refer to the restrictions section for details.

  • Red Baron vouchers are valid for three (3) years from date of purchase.

  • Red Baron vouchers are not refundable.

  • Red Baron vouchers are fully transferable at an administration fee of $30.

  • Red Baron does its best to honour vouchers on the day the voucher holder wishes to fly allowing for weather conditions, aircraft serviceability and pilot availability.

  • Passengers will not be permitted to fly if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • Red Baron reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule flights if the weather is deemed unsuitable for flying. This includes, but is not limited to; Low cloud cover, Rain, Adverse wind conditions, forecast temperature exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.


Cancellation Policy

  • Red Baron vouchers are not refundable.

  • Red Baron vouchers are fully transferable at an administration fee of $30.

  • If you need to change a reservation, 24 hours’ notice is required prior to the scheduled flight time.

  • Cancelling your flight within 24 hours of your scheduled flight time will result in the loss of your ticket/ voucher.

  • If you are ill on the day of the flight, please call us as early as possible. Under certain circumstances, if a doctor’s certificate is supplied, we can be able to reschedule your flight.

  • If the weather is not suitable for your flight, we will call the primary contact person to reschedule the flight time.

  • If a passenger fails to honour a flight booking, a 50% “No Show” fee will apply. The flight will only be rebooked once the “No Show” fee has been paid. No refunds will be given for “No Shows”.


Flight Restrictions

  • All Red Baron aircraft are subject to maximum height and weight limits. To fly in the Extra plane height must not exceed 190cm (6’4′′) and weight must not exceed 110kg. To fly in the open cockpit Pitts Special bi-plane passengers height must not exceed 190cm (6’4′′) and weight must not exceed 100kg (220lbs). To fly in the Robin 2160 the passenger’s height must not exceed 198cm (6’6′′) and weight must not exceed 110kg (242lbs).

  • Passengers must be in good physical health. If you have a physical disability, please let us know in advance so we can ensure we have the facilities you will require to access the aircraft and enjoy your flight.

  • Passengers under the age of 18 must have explicit parental consent.

  • Passengers are not permitted to carry anything with them on the flight; loose objects dropped into the aircraft may jam the flight controls.

  • Passengers will not be permitted to fly if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This assessment is made at the pilot’s discretion and is not open for discussion. The pilot’s word is final.

  • If a flight is cancelled due to intoxication the “No Show” rule will apply. For information on the “No Show” rule please see our cancellation policy.
