Experience flying in Sydney’s only open cockpit aircraft as you depart Bankstown Airport, tracking for the stunning Northern Beaches of Sydney. Then soar through the skies over Long Reef as you feel the thrill of the "intense grade" aerobatic sequence.

Get ready for the ultimate thrill as you step into an open-cockpit biplane! Feel the adrenaline surge as you soar through the skies, looping and rolling with G-forces ranging from +4 to 6G's as well as  -1 to -3G's. 

These high-octane aerobatics are complemented by stunning views of Sydney's Northern Beaches. 

You'll suit up in a pilot's flight suit before a one-on-one pre-flight briefing. Afterwards, you'll be securely strapped into the cockpit, noise-cancelling headset on, ready for takeoff. As you become airborne, you will immediately feel the wind in your hair in the open cockpit. As you climb over the northern beaches, the adventure begins! Your pilot will guide you through exhilarating aerobatic moves like loops, barrel rolls, and even inverted flight, offering a glimpse of what it's like to be upside down in an open cockpit, with nothing between you and the water. Each manoeuvre is explained as you go, connecting you to the history of WWI dogfights and aerial aces. When it's time to land, you'll return to Red Baron HQ with an unforgettable experience and a smile that lasts for days.

Guidelines

Passengers must be in good health, less than 200cm and weigh 90KG or less 

Passengers under the age of 18 will require parental consent. 

For the best chance of avoiding motion sickness, avoid fizzy drinks and have a light meal with no greasy foods 1-2 hours before your flight.

Spectators

Friends and family are welcome to accompany you for your experience. They can wait in our comfortable flight lounge while you have the experience of a lifetime. They will join you walking out to the aeroplane for photos together and your mission briefing, watch you depart and then greet you when you land. Once you return, we will put your video up on the big screen so you can all watch what you just experienced! 

Weather 

Red Baron reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule flights for any reason that may affect the safety of the flight. Safety is the number one priority. Weather, aircraft serviceability and pilot availability are factors that may determine if a flight will proceed on the requested date and time. 

If your flight was deemed to be unsuitable for flying, we will contact you and provide your other available time slots. Poor weather conditions include, but are not limited to, low cloud cover, rain, adverse wind conditions, and forecast temperatures exceeding 33 degrees Celsius.
