Extra 330LX Stunt plane (IXN)

The Extra 330LX is the highest performance aircraft that Red Baron operates and one of the most advanced aerobatic aircraft in the world. It is a two-seat, tandem arrangement low wing monoplane with conventional (taildragger) landing gear. Extra 330LX's have been the aircraft of choice in several Red Bull Air Races including the 2016 and 2017 Challenger Cup where eight identical Extra 330LX’s where competed in by some of the worlds best pilots.

The extra 330 (SC) has also been the aircraft of choice for the World Aerobatic Championships. In the 2019 WAC in Châteauroux France, the top 4 placing aircraft were Extra 330’s. Out of the top, 64 competitors 44of them competed in Extra 330’s.

Red Baron also competes in the Extra 330LX in local, state and national competitions. Aarron Deliu who flies for the Red Baron Aerobatics Team recently won the 2019 Australian National Aerobatic championships in our Extra 330LX.

Red Barons Extra 330lx is also utilised for performing aerial displays and Sydney harbour and aerobatic formation joy flights. We also use this aircraft for the most extreme adventure flights.
